Manchester United welcomed Arsenal at Old Trafford earlier this evening as they focused on earning a good result at home to kick off their Premier League campaign. The Red Devils made a slow start to the contest and conceded a cheap goal from a corner in the 13th minute when Riccardo Calafiori found the back of the net from close range. Man United went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Ruben Amorim’s men tried their best to find the equaliser in the second half but ended up suffering a tough 1-0 loss in front of their home supporters.
