“They’re Pursuing It” Browns Reportedly Attempting Inter-Division Trade, Numerous Sources…

The Cleveland Browns are going into the 2025 season with aspirations to show the league that they are here to compete. This off-season they threw numerous resources at the quarterback position in hopes to find their next franchise quarterback.

However, the team is reportedly pursing an inter-division trade that would bring their defense to the next level.

According to NFL Insider Jordan Shultz:

The#Panthers,#Browns and#Colts are among the teams that have shown interest in trading for#Bengals All-Pro Trey Hendrickson, per multiple sources.

An in-division and in-state trade is highly unlikely and any deal will be tough regardless.

Cincinnati is believed to want an impact player (or two) plus a draft pick in return.

Pairing Trey Hendrickson with Myles Garrett would create the best pass rush duo in the NFL, by far. However, as Shultz reported it is very unlikely that Cincinnati would agree to an inter-division trade with such a talented player.

If Cincinnati did agree to a trade within the division, you’d have to imagine the return they would get would be massive. This is a look at Hendrickson’s career stats:
