Matheus Cunha had Manchester United fans talking a lot about his display after the Red Devils’ 1-0 Premier League defeat against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Arsenal opened the scoring at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon after a poor clearance from Altay Bayindir during a Declan Rice corner in the first half.
Altay Bayindir could only push the ball to the back post of the Manchester United net and Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori headed Declan Rice’s cross over the line.
Arsenal held their 1-0 lead over United in the first half and the Gunners took the advantage into the break at Old Trafford, despite the Red Devils fighting back.
The Red Devils continued their pursuit of a crucial equaliser in the second half and Ruben Amorim watched his men throw the kitchen sink against Arsenal.
However, Riccardo Calafiori’s first-half header and opener against United ensured that Arsenal left Old Trafford with all three Premier League points this weekend.

What Matheus Cunha did with Man Utd summer signing Bryan Mbeumo vs Arsenal at Old Trafford is a real eye-opener
Matheus Cunha was deployed out on the left No 10 role in Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United tactical system against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
The 26-year-old Brazil international had fellow summer signing Bryan Mbeumo out in the right-sided No 10 role, with Mason Mount playing up front in a false nine role.
United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, were blown away with the chemistry link-up between Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in the attack.
An X user argued: “The difference in having Cunha and Mbeumo has been so clear.”
Someone else claimed: “Mbeumo and Cunha look elite.”
A third United fan suggested: “Mbeumo and Cunha are going to cause so many problems for other teams this season.”
Another Red Devils supporter added: “Cunha and Mbeumo have played well so far. You can notice this difference in attack.”
“Bryan Mbeumo and Cunha look sharp for Manchester United,” somebody else said.
A sixth tweeted: “Mbeumo and Cunha are playing with class and conviction. They’ve continued from where they stopped last season, like they never changed teams. Pure class from both.”
“Cunha and Mbeumo’s work rates are a marvel for us, the fans,” another posted.
While an eighth wrote: “Mbeumo and Cunha have brought life to this Man United team…”

Ruben Amorim can take away a major positive from both Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha after Man Utd’s defeat to Arsenal
Bryan Mbeumo and Cunha were both lively in attack and the two United summer signings both saw out the full 90 minutes of Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.
United manager Amorim could see first-hand from the Old Trafford touchline that Mbeumo and Cunha already understood the assignment of playing in his system.

Cunha linked up superbly well with former Brentford ace Mbeumo, who repaid the treatment to the 26-year-old ex-Wolves star with his performance on the pitch.
United fans might feel disheartened that neither Mbeumo nor Cunha could snatch a Premier League point for the Red Devils in the second half at Old Trafford.
But it was clear that Mbeumo and Cunha have been the missing puzzle pieces for the two No 10 roles for Amorim and the pair can only build on their relationship.
