Leeds United agree personal terms with 25-y/o forward, club talks "accelerating" - Journalist

Leeds United are reportedly pressing on with their attempts to sign AC Milan attacker Noah Okafor, agreeing personal terms with the Swiss international.

Leeds’ first game back in the Premier League awaits in less than 24 hours’ time at home to Everton, and it’s a chance for Daniel Farke to lay down a marker for the season ahead.

While he’s largely addressed the defensive strength of his side during the summer so far, Farke’s attack could do with some added investment soon.

Now, La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luca Bianchin reports that Leeds are advancing in their talks with the Rossoneri over a deal for Okafor.

The Swiss international is claimed to have agreed personal terms with UNited, while club-to-club negotiations are ongoing:

Noah Okafor could be the speedy, direct attacking option Leeds United need out wide

There is justified concern over Okafor being Leeds’ new winger signing due to his injury record of late, but there’s a lot to like about him for a side battling relegation.

A quick winger that likes to beat his man out wide, Leeds are crying out for that sort of directness in the form of a new signing.

How much of a drastic improvement he is to our attacking setup compared to Dan James, Willy Gnonto and co remains to be seen.
