Leeds United return to Premier League action tonight as they take on Everton in a Monday Night Football showdown.
United will host the Toffees at Elland Road in their first match of the new campaign since being promoted from the Championship to the Premier League. Daniel Farke and Co. go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with AC Milan last weekend in their last pre-season fixture of the summer.
Leeds could see several new signings make their competitive debut in the clash against Everton. However, Farke will be forced to deal with some fitness and selection dilemmas going into the match against the Toffees.
Here, Leeds Live takes a look at United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the Premier League clash against Everton.
Jaka Bijol
Jaka Bijol is serving a one-match suspension from a red card he picked up in his final match for Udinese last season.
He will miss the clash against Everton but will be available for the following fixture.
Expected return date: Arsenal (A) - August 23
Jayden Bogle
Jayden Bogle has been suffering from a hip injury during pre-season but has recently returned to training ahead of the clash against Everton.
Farke has explained he hopes to have the right-back available to face the Toffees.
"It was a late decision with Bogle. Out with two-and-a-half weeks with injury," Farke told reporters on Friday.
"Part integrated into team training on Wednesday. He will join full training session this afternoon then we will see how body reacts. If he comes through these next four sessions then he's got a chance to grab a proper amount of minutes for Monday."
Expected return date: Everton (H) - August 18
Sebastian Bornauw
Sebastian Bornauw is suffering from a calf injury he picked up during pre-season.
Leeds have been hoping to have the defender return to training this week ahead of the start of the new season. It remains to be seen if Bornauw will be available to face Everton on Monday night.
Expected return date: Everton (H) - August 18 or Arsenal (A) - August 23
Lucas Perri
Summer signing Lucas Perri was dealing with a hamstring injury following his move from Lyon.
The goalkeeper has since recovered from the injury and is in line to make his competitive debut against Everton on Monday night.
Expected return date: Everton (H) - August 18
Dan James
Dan James has been dealing with a fitness concern during pre-season, but did feature in the friendly with AC Milan last weekend.
As a result, James is expected to be available to face Everton in United's Premier League opener.
Expected return date: Everton (H) - August 18
Jack Harrison
Jack Harrison has been suffering from an adductor injury during pre-season, but did feature in the friendly with AC Milan last week.
Harrison could be in line to feature for Leeds against Everton, having had two spells on loan with the Toffees over the previous two campaigns.
Expected return date: Everton (H) - August 18
