Ellie Carpenter made her first appearance for Chelsea in their pre-season friendlies, while Mackenzie Arnold was crucial to ensuring the Portland Thorns kept a 1-1 draw with the North Carolina Courage. In Sweden, Daniela Galic scored her first goal for Vittsjö GIK.

United States

Angel City FC were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw against the bottom of the table, Utah Royals, with no side able to find the crucial goal to seal all three points. With play-offs looming, Angel City will be upset they dropped points, currently sitting just three points outside the top eight. Alanna Kennedy played the full 90 minutes for the visitors.

Mackenzie Arnold was crucial in ensuring that the Portland Thorns secured a point when they travelled to take on the North Carolina Courage. The visitors opened the scoring through Olivia Moultrie, with the midfielder pouncing on a loose ball in the box to give the Thorns the lead heading into the break. Tyler Lussi squared things up in the 70th minute to ensure Courage would take away a point. Arnold made 6 saves in the match to keep her side in it. Cortnee Vine and Kaitlyn Torpey came off the bench in the draw.

Sweden

Kristianstads DFF defeated FC Rosengård 2-1, to keep in touching distance of the top three. Goals on either side of the break from Emilija Emma Petrović and Alice Elin Egnér sealed the victory. Amy Sayer and Remy Siemsen both started the game, both coming off in the second half.

Daniela Galic scored her first goal for Vittsjö GIK, scoring an 86th-minute equaliser to salvage a point for Vittsjö in their game against Djurgården. Galic started the game, playing 89 minutes and scoring.

Malmö recorded a 2-0 win over AIK Fotboll to keep themselves in the top three, and one point shy of going equal top of the table. Goals from Matilda Eriksson Kristell, and Tuva Agnes Maria Skoog in the first half sealed the win. Courtney Nevin played the full game for Malmö, while Jada Whyman also played the full 90 minutes for AIK.

Mexico

CF Monterrey recorded a 3-1 win over Santos Laguna, bouncing back after their 4-0 midweek defeat against Cruz Azul. A brace from Lucía García and a goal from Christina Burkenroad ensured the side took all three points, keeping their spot in fourth on the table. Emily Gielnik was an unused substitute in the victory.

Canada

Calgary Wild FC recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over the Halifax Tides FC. The victory helps Calgary keep distance with the top four, just 3 points shy of moving into the semi-finals spots. Kahli Johnson did not feature in the matchday squad.

England

Tottenham Hotspur kicked their pre-season off with a 0-0 draw against Sevilla in Spain. Charli Grant started for Spurs in the friendly, while Clare Hunt came off the bench. Hayley Raso did not travel with the squad to Spain.

Ellie Carpenter made her first appearance for Chelsea, featuring in their 1-1 draw with Ajax in the Netherlands. Guro Reiten scored the goal for Chelsea. Carpenter played the full game, while Sam Kerr did not feature in the squad as she continues her rehab.

Arsenal started their pre-season off with a 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in a behind-closed-doors friendly in Germany. Steph Catley, Caitlin Foord and Kyra Cooney-Cross all featured in the game.

France

Lyon continued their pre-season preparations, recording a 3-0 win over German side FC. Nürnberg in a pre-season friendly.

Italy

Alex Chidiac's FC Como claimed bronze at The Women's Cup, defeating Atlético de Madrid in the third-place play-off. Chidiac started in the victory.
