Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have tried their best to stay competitive in the NBA. After winning the championship in 2021, they know that they can win it all with Giannis Antetokounmpo as the main focal point of the system. However, the franchise has struggled in the past three seasons, failing to get past the first round.
Given that the Bucks have also experienced a few setbacks since winning the title. Former All-Star forward Khris Middleton has been devastated by injuries since 2021. Since the 2020-21 season, Middleton has only appeared in 154 games until the 2023-24 campaign.
Due to that, they decided to trade him to the Washington Wizards for Kyle Kuzma. They also got rid of All-Star guard Jrue Holiday, who was important to their championship bid. Management thought they’d have a better chance at winning when they traded Holiday for Damian Lillard.

However, they continued to experience the same problems. Eventually, the Bucks lost Lillard this summer when they waived him to make room for center Myles Turner.

An NBA Analyst Called Out Jon Horst
General manager Jon Horst is the man responsible for the roster changes in the Milwaukee organization. With the changes he made, Horst was called out by The Ringer’s Michael Pina. The NBA commentator wasn’t holding back while criticizing the executive’s roster-related choices.
“Very little has worked since he helped mold a championship team around Giannis Antetokounmpo in 2021. Zero draft picks have panned out and his blockbuster trade for Damian Lillard was an overzealous catastrophe,” Pina wrote.
“But, largely thanks to some baffling decisions that mistake Giannis for an actual superhero, Horst has reached a point where satisfying his franchise player might not actually be in the franchise’s best interest,” he added.
Now, the only star player left is Antetokounmpo, who’s dealt with rumors about his loyalty to the organization. Given the fact that the Bucks kept changing the roster, it would be no surprise if the Greek Freak wanted to leave.
