Transfer news LIVE: Arsenal get Rodrygo boost; Eze hope; Man Utd revive Baleba deal; Isak to Liverpool latest

Targets: Eberechi Eze, Rodrygo and Alexander Isak

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are among the clubs aiming to complete some big deals now that the new Premier League season is underway. The Gunners look set to miss out on the signing of Eberechi Eze as bitter rivals Tottenham are firmly in the driver's seat. As a result, Mikel Arteta's side will have to look at alternatives in order to bolster their attack before the transfer window slams shut.

Liverpool took their spending this summer past the £300million mark with a deal for Giovanni Leoni over the weekend but the champions are still being linked with further additions - most notably Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi.

Man United's interest in Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba was thought to have cooled because of the asking price, but it has been reported that a deal could be revived. Elsewhere, Chelsea are expected to be busy with both incomings and outgoings ahead of deadline day, while Spurs have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Man City winger Savinho. "Don't always believe what you read, especially on the internet,” Glasner said of the rumours about an Eze exit.

"And here it's the same, who tells you? Who knows that this is the truth, what is written?

"There are rumours and so many rumours, and everybody tells somebody something for his own advantage, maybe.

"I watch the players every single day in the training sessions. If most of the things that are written about them is true, they couldn't perform like this, the team couldn't be together like this, the team couldn't be committed to each other like they are. It's just not possible.

"I'm quite calm. But I also know, we have two weeks to go, and I know Ebs' clause is gone, so it's the club's decision, and we will see what happens."
