He got his championship which is huge for someone who went undrafted in 2016. Things took a drastic turn from there for the sweet shooting guard.
He moved on to his former team San Antonio Spurs in the next season after declining his player option but played just 40 games for them. He was traded mid-season to the Denver Nuggets. He spent the 2022-2023 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves but saw floor action only for 25 games.
He was out of the NBA by the 2023-24 season.

Forbes also had legal troubles outside of the basketball court. He was arrested in 2023 for assaulting his girlfriend and then arrested again in 2024 for assaulting his former significant other who is also the mother of their children.
He tried his luck in Puerto Rico and now, he’s taking his talents to Europe
Milwaukee Bucks reunion in Greece
Forbes for the first time will play in Europe through Greek club Aris Thessaloniki which plays in the Super League Greece and EuroCup after agreeing to a one-year deal with the club.
His move there might not just be about looking for an earning. Reports say it is possible that he become teammates with Antetokounmpo again through the Hellas or the national basketball team.

“The timing of his signing is coincidental given the Greek national team’s preparations for the EuroBasket tournament, and multiple reports suggest the Greek Basketball Federation is backing his naturalization,” Essentially Sports wrote.
“While this seems extraordinary, it’s a strategic play that has become a common practice in international basketball.”
