Leicester City teenager Jeremy Monga is attracting the interest of Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to Spanish news outlet Fichajes.
Leicester City have picked up one win and one defeat in their first two league games of the new Championship season. It has perhaps served as an indicator of the steep task ahead if LCFC are to figure in the promotion fight.
After the opening day win over Sheffield Wednesday, the Foxes were beaten by Preston North End last weekend.

It was a poor outing from Marti Cifuentes’ side, with Jeremy Monga’s goal the only saving grace in the 2-1 loss. He became the second tier’s youngest ever goalscorer with his fine near-post finish at 16 years and 37 days old.
Such a breakthrough has not gone unnoticed, with a report from Spanish news outlet Fichajes now stating that La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are both interested in the Leicester City teenager.

They state that scouts from both clubs had eyes on Monga in academy matches, but his breakthrough has accelerated their interest. As such, there is a desire to reach an agreement that would take him to Spain when he turns 18.
LCFC will hope to hold onto Monga for the foreseeable, being one of their brightest prospects in years and one of few shining lights in the first-team.
