TBR Football understands Manchester City hierarchy have informed Pep Guardiola that they believe they should accept the money for Savinho.
Savinho is open to leaving Man City this summer with concerns over playing enough minutes during a World Cup year.
The Brazilian has now made it clear to the former Premier League champions that he is open to joining Tottenham Hotspur and City are ready to grant him his wish.
Spurs will still need to make a significant offer to sign the winger, but Man City’s stance on selling Savinho is no longer quite as strong.

Exclusive: Daniel Levy prepared to pay over £60m for both Eberechi Eze and Savinho
Daniel Levy is prepared to pay over £60 million to bring both Savinho and Eberechi Eze to North London in the final fortnight of the window, sources have told Graeme Bailey, Chief Correspondent at TBR Football.
On Sunday, Tottenham held further talks about the attacking duo, and TBR Football has learned that the North London club firmly believe both players want to join Thomas Frank’s team.
After featuring against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, Eze shared a moment alone with Crystal Palace fans, in what could be his final game playing for the Eagles.
Tottenham are confident about signing Eze, but less so about the 21-year-old, although further talks are expected to find a solution with City.
The Lilywhites take on Guardiola’s team at the Etihad Stadium next Saturday and City are unlikely to want him sold ahead of that clash.
Savinho missed City’s trip to face Wolves due to injury, with the attacker expected to be sidelined until at least the end of the month.
Meanwhile, TBR Football understands that City have again had talks with other forward options, including Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes.
Guardiola has told City to target Rodrygo, although they could face competition for his signature from Arsenal.
Tottenham building one of the best Premier League attacks
Tottenham are starting to assemble one of the best front lines in the Premier League if they can sign both Savinho and Eze.
Mohammed Kudus was superb against Burnley as he provided two assists for Richarlison, in what has been a promising start to his Spurs career.

Eze is expected to replace the injured James Maddison in the number ten role and Savinho could feature out on the left.
Richarlison also had a great game on the opening weekend, netting a brace and having him back to his best could be great news for Frank.
