The opening Premier League fixture is now behind us and there are just a fortnight left in the transfer window. There's scant evidence of Liverpool easing up on their activity.
The Reds kicked off their dealings at breakneck speed as they pursued Jeremie Frimpong whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold departed. Names like Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez subsequently emerged as the outlay crept towards £300million at Anfield.
Numerous stars have also headed through the exit door. Arne Slot has bid farewell to Jarell Quansah, Tyler Morton and Caoimhin Kelleher amongst others to generate revenue.
Meanwhile, speculation around Alexander Isak persists following his absence from Newcastle's season opener. Liverpool will still believe they require defensive reinforcement amid connections to Crystal Palace ace Marc Guehi.
With that in mind, Daily Star Sport examines the latest transfer developments and whispers surrounding Anfield, reports the Mirror.

Alisson reckons that the challenge of bedding in so many fresh faces simultaneously has been underestimated. Liverpool's transfer activity has earned praise as they secured talents like Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerez, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike.
"I think it's hard," Alisson told NBC. "Not many people talk about the changes we had in the team. Everybody's said how good our team is becoming with new players coming in, but nobody talks about the challenge that this is. It is a big challenge.

"Last season we had the challenge of changing the manager, but you keep the players so you know each other, you just have to keep the same way of playing. The manager was smart in the way he did that and also implementing new things, it was easy for us to understand.
"I think for them to play, for Jeremie, for Flo (Wirtz) and for Hugo, playing for the first time in the Premier League, you have the physicality that's a little bit different, the intensity."

Liverpool and Bournemouth have agreed a £25m deal for Ben Doak - with only the formalities left to be sorted after the clubs reached an agreement over a fee this weekend.
The Scotland international was missing from the teams' Premier League season opener following a breakthrough in talks and now a deal is virtually sealed.
The Cherries pinpointed Doak as the perfect replacement for new Brentford star Dango Ouattara Andoni Iraola, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner insists Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze remain fully committed to the Eagles despite ongoing speculation surrounding their futures.
Guehi has just 12 months left on his deal amid whispers of a potential switch to Liverpool. After the Eagles' stalemate, Glasner seemed relaxed about his star duo's situation and never contemplated dropping them from his squad. "Not at all," he declared.

"Ebs and Marc, there has been a lot of noise about these two players in the last week. Everyone could see the performances against Liverpool, and [against Chelsea] they were 100% aligned with this team.
"As long as they are 100% committed, they will play as they are so good. I watched them all week in training.
"I spoke to them almost daily, maybe more than my kids and wife, but it's been worth it to talk to them. They didn't just show they are great footballers, but they are great persons and that's what I expected."
