Jack Grealish could make his debut for Everton against Leeds United on Monday.
All eyes will be on the Manchester City winger’s display as the 29-year-old will be hoping to make his mark during his season-long loan spell.
At Everton, Jack Grealish is likely to be a starter — which has not been the case at City since he won the treble and as a result, an upturn in his performances should be expected from him.
David Moyes challenged Grealish to emulate Jesse Lingard and revive his career under his guidance while promising to play the England international in a creative role.
Danny Murphy says Jack Grealish’s success at Everton could be down to his desire to play at the World Cup
Moyes believes Grealish could redeem himself at Everton and against Leeds, he will be determined to prove the Everton boss right.
Donning Wayne Rooney’s famous number 18 shirt, the former Aston Villa attacker certainly has the quality to become a fan favourite at the Hill Dickinson Stadium — much like he was at Villa Park.

On BBC Match of the Day, Danny Murphy claimed that Grealish could succeed at Everton if he has the hunger to reclaim his place in England’s squad for the 2026 World Cup, saying: “Moyesy brought players like [Mohammed] Kudus into West Ham, who is a flair player and he did wonders with Lingard when he took him on loan to West Ham, so there’s no reason why it can’t work.”

“I think a lot of it’s going to be down to Jack’s hunger and desire, which seems to be there, he wants to be in the World Cup squad. I’m excited for him. I think it could be a really good move.”
