‘Unwilling to waste time’ – Manchester City need to accept offer quickly to avoid collapse

According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are growing impatient in their attempts to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.

The Brazil international has been linked with the Super Lig champions in recent weeks as they look to sign an experienced No.1 to replace departed club legend Fernando Muslera.

Sabah report on the latest developments in Galatasaray’s pursuit for the Manchester City player and they want to the Premier League side to accept their €10m offer.

Manchester City are said to be holding out for €15m, but if they don’t acept Gala’s bid this week then it’s looking likely they will look at other alternatives.

The Turkish newspaper claim Ederson has agreed to a three-year deal, but Cimbom are ‘unwilling to waste time’ convincing Manchester City. Subsequently they could look to target Inter Milan’s Yann Sommer if they don’t get a positive response in the coming days.

Ederson made 40 appearances in all competitions last season and is contracted until June 2026. The 31-year-old wasn’t involved in Manchester City’s victory over Wolves at the weekend, with the club marking him down as being ill.
