Matt O'Riley has shot down rumours linking him with Juventus
Dumbfounded Matt O'Riley insists he is clueless over the growing speculation linking him with a £30million move to Juventus.
The former Celtic standout is insistent he is not looking to leave Fabian Hurzeler’s Brighton after he netted in their 1-1 draw with Fulham on Saturday.
O’Riley started and scored a penalty-kick opener for the Seagulls before an injury-time leveller by Rodrigo Muniz and he is adamant no deal has been agreed to take him to Juventus this summer.
Multiple reports out of Italy claim the Turin giants will move for the Denmark international if they are able to get Douglas Luiz off the wage bill before the window closes.
And when asked directly on the Juventus links, O’Riley insisted: “I’m very happy here. I’m having fun. That’s all I know at the moment.I did go to Fabian in pre-season to reiterate I am here as a Brighton player to help the team as much as possible. I was aware there was a lot of noise around me and I think that helps just settle the situation in general.”

In-form O'Riley backed up his penalty on the final day of the season with another against the Cottagers but admits there's no guarantees he will be the taker going forward.
O’Riley added: “We’ve got a few takers. If Danny’s on the pitch as well he can take them I have respect for him. If he wanted to take it, that’s fine .”
