Federico Chiesa’s wife Lucia Bramani sent a message to the forward after he scored the decisive goal in Liverpool’s first game of the season. Chiesa made a cameo appearance from the bench in the 4-2 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League opener on Friday night.

Goals from Hugo Ekitike, Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah, alongside Chiesa, helped Liverpool claim all three points as they began their Premier League title defence. The Reds were all-square at 2-2 heading into the 88th minute before Chiesa scored, cueing wild celebrations at Anfield.

The strike was also Chiesa's first goal in the Premier League since his £10m move from Juventus 12 months ago. Despite only making seven appearances in that time, the 27 year-old has become something of a cult hero among Liverpool fans and is the subject of one of the most popular songs on The Kop at the moment.

Away from the pitch, he is married to Lucia Bramani. Lucia is a model represented by Elite Model World and has worked with brands such as Pollini, Bikini Lovers and Emporio Armani.

She is also a psychology graduate from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. Lucia regularly shares updates on her personal life to her 262,000 followers on Instagram.

The couple married in a stunning ceremony at the Grosseto Cathedral in Tuscany on July 20 last year.

After the Bournemouth game game, Lucia sent her support to her husband. She shared a picture from Liverpool’s Instagram page which showed Chiesa celebrating the winner and said: “You deserve everything.” She also added a red love heart emoji.

After the players lifted the Premier League trophy in front of a full Anfield at the end of last season, Lucia also took to Instagram to mark the special moment.

She wrote: "I’m so proud of you, always and forever." Lucia arrived at Anfield wearing the away shirt from the 95/96 season.

Chiesa also uploaded a post to the social media platform, writing "Anfield Road" alongside a picture holding the trophy in front of the onlooking Kop.

The couple appear to have settled in well to life in Merseyside. In an Instagram post back in February, Luciaposted a series of pictures including one of her at the Albert Dock in Liverpool city centre.

Throughout the summer, speculation has been rife that Chiesa would leave Liverpool and return to his homeland as he eyes a place back in the Italian senior squad. However, he played down talk of an exit when he spoke to Sky Italy after the game.

He said: "We'll talk to Liverpool, but I'll be honest, I'm happy here. I play for one of the best teams in the world, I have to wait and be ready like I was tonight.

"I have to prove that I can play for this team. I repeat, the manager has been very good with me in recent months."
