Brian Schottenheimer must address Joe Milton problem that is haunting the Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have an elite duo in Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, but where do they rank among the NFC East? You'd think the Cowboys would have a ton of playoff success given how good this duo is, but they don't.

We can debate why the team hasn't been a consistent force in the playoffs, but that isn't the point here. The NFC East is just loaded with high-end wide receivers, and there are QBs who know how to get them the ball.

The Dallas Cowboys could have a top QB/WR duo in the NFL for 2025. We ranked those duos in the NFC East. Let's get into it.

Where do Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb fall in NFC East QB/WR duo rankings?

4. Russell Wilson/Malik Nabers, New York Giants

Malik Nabers might already be a top-10 wide receiver in the NFL, but you'd like to see him stack another good year in 2024, and the uncertainty of Russell Wilson does bring them down in our QB/WR duo rankings. If nothing else, Wilson and Nabers should be able to connect on a top of deep shots down the field, as that is really all the veteran QB is good for at this point. The New York Giants surely hope that the long-term play here is Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers.

3. Jayden Daniels/Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders

Terry McLaurin never caught more than seven touchdowns in a season until 2024. Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin emerged as a top QB/WR duo in the NFL. The veteran receiver had 13 touchdowns on just 82 receptions in 2024. What stands out the most about McLaurin is just how consistently good he is. He's not missed a start since 2020 and has had at least 1,000 yards in all but one season of his NFL career.

He clearly wants a new contract at the moment, and the Washington Commanders would be wise to give him one. Second-year QB Jayden Daniels immediately took a liking to McLaurin and helped them become a top-tier QB/WR duo, but they're just third in our power rankings.

2. Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys

CeeDee Lamb is only set to enter his age-26 season in the NFL. He's already got four Pro Bowls, nearly 500 receptions, and 6,339 yards. Lamb is simply sensational and is no worse than the third-best WR in the NFL right now. He's got a passer rating of 102.8 when targeted and makes life quite easy for Dak Prescott, who missed nine games in 2024 with a hamstring injury.

When Prescott and Lamb are on the field, there aren't many duos who are better, but the mounting injuries for Prescott is something to take note of.

1. Jalen Hurts/AJ Brown, Philadelphia Eagles

You might disagree here, but we've seen Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown come through in a ton of high-leverage situations since the duo formed in 2022. Since Brown's tenure began in Philly, he's made two Pro Bowls and has caught 261 passes for 4,031 yards. He's got a passer rating of 109.9 when targeted with the Eagles. And while Jalen Hurts himself isn't nearly the passer that Dak Prescott is, there really isn't much of a question who the best QB/WR duo in the NFC East is.
