Wrexham remain interested in signing Liverpool starlet Lewis Koumas, a report from TEAMtalk has said.
Wrexham haven’t hesitated to splash the cash on their rise to the Championship, breaking their transfer record three times.
Liberato Cacace was the first before a statement deal for Lewis O’Brien, who signed from Nottingham Forest. Most recently though, Nathan Broadhead joined from Ipswich Town in a huge deal worth a reported £10m.

More additions are on the radar though as the Red Dragons look to find their feet in the Championship, and amid a real injury concern over Josh Windass, it has emerged that one name remains on the radar.
Wrexham have been linked with a move for Liverpool talent Lewis Koumas this summer and a fresh report from TEAMtalk says that the North Welsh side are indeed still interested in recruiting the 19-year-old attacker.

It would likely be a loan deal for the Welshman, who is held in high regard back at Anfield. The need for another attacker has been heightened by Windass’ injury and it could mean that Wrexham ramp up their chase over the coming week with more new signings targeted.
Two weeks remain until the window slams shut at 7pm on September 1st.
