DALRY football star Ben Doak is on the verge of leaving Liverpool to sign for Premier League rivals Bournemouth.
The 19-year-old attacker is expected to complete his transfer to the South Coast club in the next 24 hours.
It is believed the two clubs have agreed a £20 million deal plus £5m in add-ons for Doak, who has six Scotland caps.
The Garnock Valley teen recently returned to Liverpool following a fruitful spell on loan at Middlesbrough last season.
The forward, who notched 10 goal contributions in the Championship before being injured, returned to Anfield at the end of the season.
He was left out of Liverpool's 4-2 victory over Bournemouth in the season opener on Friday night, amid ongoing talks between the two clubs.
It is believed Bournemouth beat rival bids from other Premier League clubs, including Leeds, as well as Portuguese club Porto.
Doak started his football career with Dalry Rovers, before signing for Ayr United and then Celtic.
He joined Liverpool in March 2022 and made his league debut for them in a 3–1 win at Aston Villa that year, aged 17, becoming the youngest Scottish player to appear in the Premier League.
