Everton have signed Jack Grealish on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City, which is a real statement addition.
Jack Grealish was convinced to join Everton by David Moyes, who has shown a real pulling power this summer transfer window.
Thierno Barry admitted Moyes was the selling factor, as did Adam Aznou, so clearly the Scotsman is selling a good pitch.
Grealish is expected to make his debut against Leeds United this evening, and ahead of the game, Match of the Day pundit Danny Murphy has explained what he must do to get back into the England squad ahead of the World Cup next year.

Danny Murphy tells Jack Grealish to show ‘hunger and desire’ at Everton
Grealish has endured a tough couple of seasons at Manchester City, and that saw him excluded from England’s EURO 2024 squad.
The World Cup in America is next year, and the Everton loanee has admitted that’s a motivating factor to get back to his best.
Speaking on BBC Match of the Day, Murphy explained that if Grealish has the ‘hunger and desire’, he will be a roaring success at the Toffees.

“Moyesy brought players like (Mohammed) Kudus into West Ham, who is a flair player and he did wonders with Lingard when he took him on loan to West Ham, so there’s no reason why it can’t work,” the pundit said.
“I think a lot of it’s going to be down to Jack’s hunger and desire, which seems to be there, he wants to be in the World Cup squad. I’m excited for him. I think it could be a really good move.”
Jack Grealish will be given license to be creative by David Moyes
Often at Manchester City, Grealish played with the handbrake on and had to follow Pep Guardiola’s strict tactics.
The Spaniard is big on positional play, so the former Aston Villa talisman didn’t really have the freedom to express himself.
That’s set to change at Everton, though, as Moyes is expected to give him much more license to roam and create.
Grealish is a maverick and needs a platform where he feels comfortable enough to try the extraordinary, even if it doesn’t always work.
There is a balance of course, and that’s what Moyes will have to try and find this season, as Everton navigate out of a tricky period as a club.
