Leeds United have pulled off some impressive business already, with AC Milan forward Noah Okafor possibly next at Elland Road.
The Switzerland international joined the Serie A outfit in 2023 from Red Bull Salzburg, but seems to be out of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans.
Okafor has agreed to move to Elland Road, and the Whites may be on their way to seal their ninth transfer since returning to the Premier League.
Milan wanted Daniel Farke’s team to pay £17.2million for the 25-year-old, but the West Yorkshire outfit could potentially pull off a bargain deal.

The Sky Sports journalist revealed on X on 18 August that the Whites are in advanced talks with the Serie A outfit to bring the Swiss forward to Elland Road.
It’s been claimed that the 25-year-old has given the West Yorkshire outfit the green light to proceed with the transfer.
While the right-footed attacker has featured heavily on the left for the Italian club, he’s capable of playing across the front line.

Okafor in starting lineup: Who will Farke drop at Elland Road?
Leeds are aware of Okafor’s fitness concerns, but it looks like the medical team have confidence they can manage his workload in LS11.
The Whites have also signed former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and the striker has his own history of consistent injuries.
More attacking depth is arguably needed at the West Yorkshire outfit after Mateo Joseph’s move to Mallorca on loan and Patrick Bamford seemingly being left out of Farke’s plans.
FC Basel to Salzburg – £9.6m fee.
Salzburg to Milan – £13.3m.
Milan to Leeds – may be around £13m.
Okafor may be primarily used on the left wing at Leeds due to Joel Piroe’s significance up front and Dan James’ influence on the right side of attack.
That would mean Willy Gnonto and Largie Ramazani will be fighting with the Switzerland international for a place in the starting lineup.
While the Italian winger will want to play a more significant role this season at Elland Road, he lost his place in the team at the turn of the year, and the Milan forward may have an opportunity to stake his claim under Farke.
