Manchester United will want to sell a handful of players before the summer transfer window comes to an end.
The transfer business so far this summer has been surprisingly good, with Manchester United’s spending reaching £200 million after signing a new front three.
Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha impressed against Arsenal during Sunday’s 1-0 defeat, while Benjamin Sesko showed glimpses of promise in his 25-minute cameo.
Ruben Amorim is pleased with his new signings, but one area where Ineos have struggled is getting players out of the club.
Marcus Rashford has left to join Barcelona, but Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund are still on the club’s books.

Club director confirms Rasmus Hojlund interest
Against Arsenal, Hojlund was left out of the squad entirely by Amorim, with the Portuguese head coach preferring to name Joshua Zirkzee and Sesko on his bench.
It was a clear sign to Hojlund that he is no longer needed at United, with the Dane expected to leave before the window closes.
There has been Premier League interest in Hojlund, while there are also plenty of potential suitors in Italy.

In particular, AC Milan have held talks over Hojlund and now their sporting director, Igli Tare, has confirmed their interest.
As per ESPN, Tare said: “Hojlund is a good option for us.
“We are thinking about him, but in the transfer market, you never know what could happen.”
Rasmus Hojlund opening doors to £44m Man United exit
During the pursuit of Sesko, Hojlund made it clear he wants to stay at United and fight for his spot.
But Amorim’s actions suggest there is no space for him in the 2025/26 United squad, meaning Ineos will want to cash in on him sooner rather than later.
Milan’s offer for Hojlund is worth £44m in total, including a loan fee and a buy option available for next summer.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the loan fee would be worth around £5m, with the buy option clause valued at around £39m.
After initially being closed off to the idea of leaving, it now seems Hojlund is open to joining AC Milan this summer, especially after being pushed out of Amorim’s squad.
