'A specimen of a man': Micah Richards says Man Utd have signed a 'monster' who will tear up the Premier League

Manchester United showed signs of promise at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Red Devils had 22 shots against Arsenal and 62% possession, unfortunately losing 1-0 after a mistake from Altay Bayindir.

However, there was a lot for Ruben Amorim to be pleased about, with the likes of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo delivering encouraging displays on their Premier League debuts for Manchester United.

Benjamin Sesko also made his Premier League debut following a £74m move from RB Leipzig – and Micah Richards has high hopes for the Slovenia international.

Micah Richards is backing Benjamin Sesko to be a success

Speaking on Sky Sports before Manchester United kicked off against Arsenal, Roy Keane, Daniel Sturridge and the 37-year-old watched Amorim’s new No.30 warm up.

When asked if Manchester United have bought Sesko for the future, Richards remarked: “No, I think it’s about now!

“22 years of age, but he’s ready. What I like about him, he really is good at running in behind for a tall striker. Look at him, a specimen of a man, 6 foot 5. Look how big he is. He’s a monster, and he’s got all the abilities. Can’t wait to see him in the Premier League.”

The Slovenian was named on the bench by Amorim, but entered the fray in the 65th minute, playing 31 minutes including stoppage time and looked sharp.

Sesko even outdid Viktor Gyokeres – taking two shots compared to none from the Swede, who played 60 minutes on his Premier League debut for Arsenal.

Manchester United pleased with how Benjamin Sesko has started

TBR Football have received information on how the man born in Radece has taken to life at Carrington.

Sources informed Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent for TBR Football – that Manchester United are delighted by Sesko and feel he has “hit the ground running” in training, despite only arriving from RB Leipzig nine days ago.

There is clearly a lot of optimism surrounding the towering striker, which should come as no surprise when you consider his immense physical attributes in a league which demands those abilities.
