Just in: Tottenham suffer huge blow as Premier League club now rule out £60m transfer

Tottenham Hotspur's move to take attacker Savinho from Manchester City to north London has fallen through, according to reports - with the Cityzens instead deciding that the youngster will remain at the club, thus ending their own interest in Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo.

The report by Guillem Balague on X (formerly Twitter) states that City have decided to keep Savinho ahead of the upcoming campaign, despite interest from Tottenham, in what could be a huge blow for Thomas Frank.

As a result, that has 'killed' any possibility of Rodrygo moving from the Spanish capital to the Etihad Stadium. City did not make an official bid for the Brazilian star, as any move was dependent on £60million-rated Savinho leaving for north London - and so Pep Guardiola will keep the Brazilian that is already in his squad, as opposed to moving for the Los Blancos star.
