Exclusive: Who Bilal El Khannouss favours out of Crystal Palace, Everton, Leeds and West Ham now revealed

TBR Football can exclusively confirm that Bilal El Khannouss is keen on a move to Crystal Palace – despite interest from Everton, Leeds and West Ham too.

The Morocco international is being lined up for an immediate return to the Premier League this summer, after dropping into the Championship with Leicester last season.

In two Championship appearances so far this term, the Leicester No.11 has already provided two assists.

Now, Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent for TBR Football – can share why Bilal El Khannouss is eager to join Crystal Palace as Leeds, Everton and West Ham circle.

Exclusive: Bilal El Khannouss wants to play for Oliver Glasner

Sources inform TBR Football that the 21-year-old is keen to play under Oliver Glasner at Selhurst Park, and talks have been positive between all parties.

We understand Crystal Palace also like Christos Tzolis of Club Brugge, but El Khannouss – who some compare to Christian Eriksen – is the primary target for those at Selhurst Park, and discussions accelerated over the weekend.

The Moroccan and his representatives believe Crystal Palace could be the best option for his career, after weighing up potential moves to West Ham, Everton and Leeds as well.

Bailey says: “I am told that El Khannouss has been considering his options and they are plentiful – varying from England, Europe and Saudi Arabia. However, Palace sources are very happy with how talks have gone, and they like the player.”

Crystal Palace have also considered Liverpool No.19 Harvey Elliott and Georgiy Sudakov – but these are potentially expensive deals.

TBR Football understand El Khannouss is expected to leave Leicester before the summer transfer window ends on Monday 1st September.

Newcastle and Tottenham also like El Khannouss – along with Arsenal – and the Premier League trio sent enquiries earlier this summer, but no contact has been made recently.

Sources add that Crystal Palace remain in talks with Club Brugge over Tzolis, and the Greek international could still be signed as well.

Bilal El Khannouss expected to replace Eberechi Eze

If Crystal Palace manage to complete the exciting capture of El Khannouss, it is likely to come with a caveat.

TBR Football understand Tottenham are confident of signing Eberechi Eze and talks are progressing with Crystal Palace over a deal in the region of £60m.
