The New York Giants quarterback room has been taking the league by storm during the NFL preseason. New York during the 2024 season had one of the worst quarterback rooms in the NFL.

In 2025, they may have one of the best quarterback rooms in the NFL. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart was impressive during his preseason game against the Buffalo Bills. Dart was once again impressive against the New York Jets by completing 14-of-16 passes for 137 yards and one touchdown, along with another rushing touchdown as well in a 31-12 win for the Giants over the Jets.

This is the second straight game that Dart has been very impressive for the Giants. With the way Dart is playing, there were reporters who were asking if there was any way he can start Week 1 against the Washington Commanders. Well, head coach Brian Daboll shut that down immediately be mentioning Wilson as the starter and Dart will continue to develop behind the scenes.

Time will tell if Dart is going to wind up being a star in this league or not. With that being said, Daboll is very confident in the relationship he is going to have with Dart hopefully for the long haul here. If he does start sooner rather than later for the Giants over Wilson, there is a chance that he could potentially ignite this city in a hurry.
