West Ham and Everton in Transfer Battle For Giant Striker

West Ham United and Everton seem to have been inextricably linked throughout the summer transfer window, chasing the same targets across defence and midfield.

Now, it’s the turn of the strikers, with both clubs reportedly closing in on Stade de Reims forward Adama Bojang, according to a report in The Guardian.

The 21-year-old Gambian, who spent last season on loan at Grasshopper Zurich, is valued at around €5 million and has been on the radar of Premier League clubs since impressing at the 2023 Under-20 World Cup.

Bojang enjoyed a strong finish to his loan spell, scoring six goals and providing two assists in his final 13 matches after a quiet start. Standing at 6ft 3in, he offers a powerful presence for opposition defenders to deal with, combining strength with pace.

Adama Bojang has also been linked with Manchester United

West Ham have already added Callum Wilson to bolster our frontline this summer, but his arrival does little to address the lack of speed in attack. Bojang’s profile, therefore, would offer something different and more dynamic to Graham Potter’s options.

With Everton also pushing for the striker, this could become another head-to-head battle between the two clubs in what has been a recurring theme of the window.
