Marcus Rashford
The English forward made his competitive debut for Barcelona, coming on as a substitute in the 3-0 win at Mallorca in their La Liga opener.
Rashford played for 22 minutes but made no significant impact, failing to attempt any shots and recording just 14 touches, but he made two key passes.
Radek Vitek
The Czech Republic goalkeeper helped Bristol City secure a point in their goalless draw with Charlton Athletic and was named Man of the Match.
Vitek debuted in the 4-1 win over Sheffield United and was also impressive in that fixture.
Elyh Harrison
Harrison started his first league game for League Two club Shrewsbury Town in their 2-0 loss at home to Colchester United.
He made his debut in the Carabao Cup loss to Grimsby Town. He saved a penalty in the fixture but could not prevent the Shrews from a 3-1 defeat.
Sonny Aljofree
The 20-year-old started his third league game for Notts County as they lost 2-1 at Barrow. He was substituted in the 56th minute, marking the first time he has been replaced since joining the League Two club.
Habeeb Ogunneye
The 19-year-old right-back made his first league start for Newport County in their 2-1 loss at Grimsby Town. He also started their Carabao Cup clash with Millwall last Tuesday.
Dan Gore
The English midfielder kept his place in Rotherham United’s line-up for the third consecutive league game and lasted 90 minutes for the first time as they lost 3-0 at Cardiff City.
Ethan Wheatley
The centre-forward’s search for his first goal for Northampton Town continued as they lost 2-0 at Stevenage. He came close to scoring, rattling the post from close range late on.
