Leeds United have a few full-backs already but more quality is required there if they want serious Premier League depth, leading them to Leicester City’s James Justin.
James Justin could become the latest signing for Leeds United this summer. Leeds United News revealed exclusively that the Leicester City’s Justin is on Leeds’ radar.
If signed, he will add to Jayden Bogle, Gabriel Gudmundsson, and Sam Byram. Like the latter, Justin’s versatility is what Leeds fans want. That, evidently, is what the Elland Road recruitment team are eyeing the squad adding in, too.
It’s been claimed that Justin and Leeds are closing in on an agreement with our reveal that Justin’s mentality is to become a Leeds starter as well. His ability to play both sides opens up that possibility.

James Justin update as Leeds fear injury concern
The spanner in the works is that Justin was struck by injury for Leicester against Preston North End. He has been a Leicester player over the last six years and captained the side in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat.
You could argue it was a strange decision, considering the transfer interest. Everton also wanted Justin for £6 million earlier in the window. It was a risk to feature him, given that Justin arguably needs a fresh start away from Leicester.
Especially when Marti Cifuentes has already dropped hints on Justin’s Leicester future. He remains a Leicester player and that could continue beyond the window if the issue is serious.

Sky Sports’ Zinny Boswell states Leeds’ move for Justin is “in doubt” after he picked up an injury in Saturday’s defeat to Preston. He adds that the Whites are waiting to hear back on the severity of the problem before making a decision.
Crucially, they have other targets in case the deal for the 27-year-old falls through. We previously suggested VfL Wolfsburg’s two-sided full-back Joakim Maehle instead of Justin, for example.
Will Jayden Bogle start for Leeds United tonight against Everton?
The question many are asking right now is regarding Jayden Bogle. With Justin not signed, Leeds will hope that their current first-choice right-back is in line to feature.
Ahead of the AC Milan game, it was revealed that Bogle had an issue with his hip flexor. However, Bogle should make the Everton matchday squad in some capacity after Farke mentioned featuring on the grass again.
Isaac Schmidt could yet join Werder Bremen, per the latest updates. Meanwhile, Bogle has missed the last few games of pre-season. There is a question of sharpness which needs to be answered.
Bogle was then missing from training videos prior to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s arrival. However, he appeared in the most recent YouTube video numerous times, which shows he has been training with his newest teammate.
He should be in line to start tonight, providing he came through all of that unscathed. Either way, Leeds may need to identify other alternatives if Justin’s issue is serious.
