Steph Curry is one of the most recognizable athletes in the world. The Golden State Warriors guard has four NBA championships to his name, along with the unique distinction of being the only unanimous MVP in the league’s history.
Curry’s league-changing shooting ability revolutionized modern basketball, making him an icon to aspiring hoopers around the world. While Curry is one of the most popular NBA players in America, his popularity in China is just as strong.
The 36-year-old guard has taken his Curry Camp to Chongqing, China, making it the first Asian edition of the camp. The Chinese fans were thrilled to see Curry, serenading him with MVP chants as he walked out onto the court.

Franchise superstar Curry hasn’t seen much activity from the Warriors ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season. The Warriors’ roster has not seen any additions so far this summer, a major concern given we’re already halfway through August.
The franchise has been linked to veteran big man Al Horford since the start of free agency, but it seems the uncertain contract status of restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga has held the franchise up.
A resolution might shake the roster up, especially if the team finds a suitable sign-and-trade deal for their disgruntled forward.
Nonetheless, Curry, who averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists last season, will be waiting for more competitive pieces around him, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green.
