The Phoenix Suns entered the offseason expected to make major changes to their roster and that is exactly what they have done thus far.
Phoenix began the offseason by trading Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for a package headlined by Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and the pick used to select Khaman Maluach.
They also acquired Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets and selected Rasheer Fleming and Koby Brea in the second round of the 2025 draft.

The Suns also officially ended their big three by buying out Bradley Beal’s contract, leaving Devin Booker as the only player remaining from their star trio who is set to be a major part of their future after they gave him a massive contract extension this summer.
With these moves, the Suns have officially overhauled their roster with hopes to become a contender once again in the Western Conference.

While the Suns have already made a ton of moves this offseason, more could be on the way as they are reportedly interested in Golden State Warriors restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga.
Suns predicted to land Jonathan Kuminga from Warriors
With this in mind, FanSided’s Maxwell Ogden recently released a mock trade that would see the Suns send three players to Golden State for Kuminga.

In the trade, Ogden has the Suns trading Nick Richards, Royce O’Neale, Oso Ighodaro and a future first-round picks to the Warriors in exchange for Kuminga.
For the Suns, this would be an interesting trade for them to make as they would be moving on from some key players from last season, though adding Kuminga would give them another young player to build around for the future.
Kuminga would give the Suns a solid scorer and defender at the forward position who should fit in well next to Green and Booker.

This trade could work out well for the Suns as they try to bounce back after the failure of their big three but the Warriors may also want more in return in a trade for their young forward this offseason.
