Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr will not get called up for Brazil by former coach Carlo Ancelotti, according to a recent report from GE.
Vinicius Jr was suspended for the first game against Chile, so he would not have played that game either way. Now, he will also miss the game against Bolivia.
Ancelotti reportedly wants the Real Madrid superstar to rest and recover during the upcoming break.
It also says that Eder Militao and Rodrygo Goes will get called up by the Italian manager for these two games. Militao will make his long-awaited return to the heart of Brazil’s defense after a long time away due to his ACL injury.
Vinicius Jr will hope to recover his best form for both club and country this upcoming season, as there is a lot on the line — especially with the World Cup in less than a year’s time. It remains to be seen how well he is able to perform.
