Detroit Lions rookie wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa certainly made a case for himself in the team’s 24-17 preseason loss to the Miami Dolphins on Saturday.

Although the Lions were handed their second loss of the preseason, TeSlaa finished with four receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown. The Michigan native also had 18 yards and a touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons and 46 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in the Hall of Fame Game.
TeSlaa was drafted in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft (70th overall) after two seasons at Arkansas and has been impressive in his time with the team thus far. His two touchdowns are tied for most in the preseason with fellow Lions teammate Jackson Meeks.
The Lions remain home at Ford Field for one more preseason game against the Houston Texans before opening the regular season on the road against the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 7. Final 53-man active NFL rosters must be determined by Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 4 p.m. ET.
