Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko made his Manchester United debut from the bench in the club’s opening game.
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim called on Benjamin Sesko from the bench in the second half against Arsenal, chasing a goal.
Sesko’s first team bow did not turn into a stadium-lifting dream debut, with United unable to score and slipping to a 1-0 home loss.
But as far as getting integrated with his new team, Sesko got the chance to savour an intense Premier League contest, learning a lot about what lies ahead for him.

Benjamin Sesko performance discussed
Benjamin Sesko played the final 25 minutes plus injury time, and while he was a constant presence inside the Arsenal box, he did look like he had never played with his teammates before.
United’s best play and link up did not involve Sesko, with the Slovenian trying to forge a connection with his teammates in real time.
Former United defender Mikael Silvestre told MUTV’s postgame coverage that he liked what he saw from the new Red Devils signing.
“He will be a presence. He’s got good movement. He’s trying to make himself available and to receive the ball in the danger area. For 6ft 5, he’s very agile.”

Asked if he would like to defend against him, Silvestre responded: “Absolutely not. You have to go around him. It’s difficult. He’s a big, big lad.”
MUTV presenter Mark Sullivan added his view, noting: “Just by being on the pitch, you can see the sort of confusion he’s causing.”
Sesko will get his opportunities, he’s the lead man
Former United striker Wayne Rooney told BBC Sport that he liked Sesko’s positioning, praising the forward. Supporters on social media also praised the positive signs from the new addition.
Sesko is United’s lead striker, with the Red Devils spending £66 million to snap him up from RB Leipzig.
There are three matches upcoming before the end of the month, with Manchester United facing Fulham away, and Burnley at home, with Grimsby in the Carabao Cup in between.
Sesko will be targeting starts in all of these games, with Ruben Amorim keen to get him involved, and the quicker he gets on the scoresheet, the better.
Rasmus Hojlund took until December to score his first Premier League goal for Manchester United. It would be a big success if Sesko can grab his first before the end of this month.
