Celtic could be close to securing Michel-Ange Balikwisha deal

Ask any Celtic fan what they want in the transfer window and the same answer will crop up: a winger.

Michel-Ange Balikwisha has been learning a new position but is still best suited to playing the wide role.

There have been conflicting reports over Celtic’s interest in Balikwisha over recent months but according to David Friel, he is ‘adamant’ that the Royal Antwerp star will join the Hoops.

Callum Osmand tipped for loan move

Callum Osmand is an exciting young prospect at Celtic and is someone that excites Brendan Rodgers.

Osmand starred in Celtic B’s win against Clyde but the 19-year-old is clearly in need of first-team football.

Louis Munteanu could be available on the cheap while David Strelec’s father hinted the Bhoys are still interested.

Friel hinted that the forward will head out on loan, either this summer or in January, to get the minutes he needs before competing with the senior side in the future.

Ben Doak close to joining Bournemouth

Ben Doak is one of the most exciting talents to come through the Celtic academy in years and even though he left at the age of 16, can say the Hoops played a big role in his development.

Doak has been at Liverpool but only featured 10 times for the senior team, despite becoming a regular in the Scotland national team setup.
