The report says that Brentford are reluctant to sell, so despite Collins having a market value of just £24m, the Bees will likely drive a hard bargain to sell him, and could demand a hefty fee.
The 24-year-old made 42 appearances for Brentford last year, scoring two goals and providing five assists, showing his capabilities as an attacking threat as well as a reliable centre-back. United will hope that Liverpool can sign Guehi, because otherwise, they could rival them for Collins this summer.

In terms of defenders, there haven’t been many links to centre-backs this summer, but there are multiple links to several goalkeepers this summer, as the Red Devils would like to upgrade on both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.
That would help sure up Amorim’s defence, and after we saw the mistake from Altay Bayindir against Arsenal, it could have been the difference between a point or even a win against the title hopefuls and a loss.
