But despite that, they are reportedly willing to let Oxlade-Chamberlain depart the club on a free.

He joined Besiktas from Liverpool in 2023 and has gone on to play 44 games in all competitions.

In that time, he's only scored five times and assisted once.

Now, Oxlade-Chamberlain may make his way back to England to join Birmingham in the Championship.

The Blues, who were promoted after winning the League One title last season, are looking to add some more experience.

Chris Davies' side have started the new campaign with a draw and a win after making 10 signings already this summer.

And the former England international could end up becoming the club's 11th new arrival of the window.

Birmingham are eyeing instant promotion to the Premier League and the addition of Oxlade-Chamberlain could help aid that goal.

Reports claim there has been some interest from top-flight sides in England too, with Besiktas open to letting him leave.

The midfielder has been in full training in Turkey, but he has not made an appearance in pre-season or competitively this season.
