The 19-year-old attacker was officially unveiled by the Dorset club yesterday evening after a £20m deal plus £5m in add-ons was agreed between his new side and former club Liverpool.
And he was unveiled with a new name on the back of his shirt.
The footballer now wishes to be known as Ben Gannon Doak to reflect both of his parents' names.
After signing a five-year contract, he said: "I'm buzzing to be here.
Ben Gannon Doak.

"I feel like it's the right time for me and it's a great opportunity to play regular football at the highest level. It feels like the perfect fit.
"The team play very nice football. It's fast and it really suits my game, so I felt like I couldn't say no to the chance to play here."
The Garnock Valley teen recently returned to Liverpool following a fruitful spell on loan at Middlesbrough last season.
The forward, who notched 10 goal contributions in the Championship before being injured, returned to Anfield at the end of the season.
He was left out of Liverpool's 4-2 victory over Bournemouth in the season opener on Friday night, amid ongoing talks between the two clubs.
It is believed Bournemouth beat rival bids from other Premier League clubs, including Leeds, as well as Portuguese club Porto.
Doak started his football career with Dalry Rovers, before signing for Ayr United and then Celtic.
He joined Liverpool in March 2022 and made his league debut for them in a 3–1 win at Aston Villa that year, aged 17, becoming the youngest Scottish player to appear in the Premier League.
Ben's grandfather, Martin Doak, who sadly died last year, was also a footballer, having made more than 300 appearances across two spells for Morton.
