Leeds United began their Premier League campaign with a win at Elland Road. They made history, becoming the first Championship winners to record a victory in their opening league game in 17 years.
The crowd made the home advantage count just like Daniel Farke asked in Friday’s press conference. Leeds’ performance on the pitch was very encouraging, with the likes of Ao Tanaka, and new signing Gabriel Gudmundsson standing out. Another new signing Lukas Nmecha, was the one who dispatched the penalty to secure all three points on Monday night.

Rowe already has interest from Italy and Premier League sides. Leeds have been linked with a move for the winger this summer, but no official approach has been made. Now that he is available, the club could move for him soon.
Leeds United still in the market for a winger
Daniel Farke mentioned that there could be more additions after Dominic Calvert-Lewin joined. One area of the pitch Leeds needed quality in was out wide, with the club failing to replace Manor Solomon’s production from last year.
Leeds are currently in advanced talks with AC Milan over Noah Okafor, but a deal for Rowe in addition could make a lot of sense.
