Leeds United have been working on a deal to sign AC Milan winger Noah Okafor over the last few days. The club have accelerated their efforts, and are now on the cusp of finalising the 25-year-old winger’s transfer to Elland Road in the coming days.

The Whites secured a huge 1-0 win over Everton on their first day back in the Premier League on Monday, and earned newfound belief that they can buck the trend and survive in the top flight this season.

Leeds United schedule Noah Okafor medical

Leeds have been in advanced negotiations with AC Milan over a deal to take the 25-year-old winger to Elland Road in the ongoing summer transfer window.

It emerged earlier today that Leeds have a deal in place with the Serie A giants for the Switzerland international and are set to pay up to £18m for him.

The Whites are accelerating their efforts to get the transfer over the line and have already agreed on personal terms on a contract with the winger.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Okafor will travel to England and undergo a medical with Leeds in the next 24 hours.

A medical has been booked and the winger will soon be in England to finalise the terms of his transfer to Elland Road this summer.

If and when he passes the medical, Okafor will put pen to paper on a four-year contract at Leeds, with an option of another year.

The deal is in it’s final stages, and provided there are no more glitches, the AC Milan player will soon become a Leeds star in the coming days.
