In what came as a bit of a surprise move, AFC Bournemouth have opted to sell attacker Dango Ouattara to Premier League rivals Brentford.
Including add-ons, the transfer package is reportedly worth £42 million.
The Burkina Faso international made 88 appearances in all competitions for the Cherries, including 48 Premier League starts, scoring 11 goals, including a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest as a makeshift striker.

Whilst its a shame to see the 23-year-old depart Dean Court, especially in somewhat of a sideways move. The money on offer from Brentford, who have seen their own mass exodus this summer, appeared just too good to turn down.
That fee, takes this summer’s transfer window earnings to €230 million.
The turnover of players at AFC Bournemouth since the end of last season has been incredible.
Kepa Arrizabalaga saw his loan end and return to Chelsea.
Illia Zabarnyi moved to Paris Saint-Germain (€63.00m), Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid (€62.50m) and Milos Kerkez to Liverpool (€46.90m) saw three of the back four depart.
Dango Ouattara to Brentford (€42.80m), Jaidon Anthony to Burnley (€9.50m), Mark Travers to Everton (€4.60m), Joe Rothwell to Rangers (€460k), and Neto joining Botafogo on a free transfer saw 5 more leave permanently. – All fees according to Transfermarkt.
Max Aarons and Daniel Jebbison have also left the club on loan moves to Rangers and Preston North End respectively.

Looks like the relationship with the club via his agent had broken down, which is a shame and unprofessional on both sides.
Brentford’s world-class recruitment team can see the potential; others seem incapable.
£42m is about right for a player with his potential and versatility, but will only be of benefit to us if we recruit as good or better. – To join the conversation, please click here.
