Manchester City have received an offer from Borussia Dortmund for a player Pep Guardiola does not want to sell.
Outgoings have been the main focus of the Manchester club for several weeks now, with the Premier League giants successfully offloading Jack Grealish to Everton on loan and James McAtee to Nottingham Forest.
Guardiola has made it clear that he does not want to work with a big group of players throughout the 2025/26 campaign, and there is still work to do before the legendary coach is satisfied.
Man City are currently weighing up an offer sent by Borussia Dortmund for one of their stars, but there is a problem with the proposal.

Borussia Dortmund send a loan offer for Claudio Echeverri
There has been a lot of talk around the future of Claudio Echeverri this summer as Man City are keen to secure the Argentine a loan move for the 2025/26 campaign.
Guardiola has high hopes for Echeverri as the legendary coach labelled the 19-year-old “incredible” following his recent goal against Al Ain at the Club World Cup.

Man City want Echeverri to join Girona, but the midfielder is not believed to be interested in joining the Catalan club as he wants to play for a team competing in Europe throughout the new season.
Borussia Dortmund tick this box for the 19-year-old, who have submitted a loan bid with an option to buy attached to the Manchester club, reports The Athletic.
The big issue with the proposal is the option to buy, as Guardiola has no intention of selling Echeverri anytime soon, with City wanting a straight loan deal if the Argentine is to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.
Man City are considering allowing the youngster to move to Dortmund, but the Bundesliga club will have to accept the Premier League club’s terms if they want to sign the midfielder.
Roma also remain interested in Echeverri, but it seems that Borussia Dortmund currently have a lead over the Italian club.
Callum Doyle set to join Wrexham for £8m
It was reported last month that Man City were open to selling Callum Doyle this summer, and it seems that the Manchester club have found a new club for the defender.
According to The Athletic, Wrexham are closing in on the signing of the 21-year-old, which is said to be worth up to £8m.
Doyle is said to have opted for a move to the Welsh club due to their location, as the player still wants to live close to Manchester.
Sheffield United and Rangers were also interested in the centre-back, who has spent the last four seasons on loan at Sunderland, Coventry City, Leicester City and Norwich.
