Greg Olsen, renowned FOX sportscaster, recently found himself in hot water after dropping a racial slur against none other than Brandon Beane, the general manager of the Buffalo Bills. Beane and Olsen were seen in a panel while covering the second preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
The Bills lost abysmally against the Bears as they failed to put up a single score in that matchup. The Bears, on the other hand, managed a total of 38 points, with quarterback Tyson Bagent managing a single touchdown and running back Ian Wheeler contributing two scores. Brandon Beane was definitely devastated by his team’s performance and looked crestfallen during the broadcast.

B**ner is a racial slur against people from Mexico and others of Latino descent. It is still not known if Greg Olsen used the term on purpose and tried to come up with an affectionate nickname for Brandon Beane who was hurting because of the Bills’ poor performance.

The Buffalo Bills have not been able to put up a single win in the last two preseason games, with the matchup against the Chicago Bears being the worst of the lot. Still, all is not lost for the Bills who will be taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend for the final preseason game, before heading to Week 1 to meet the Baltimore Ravens for the regular season.
Greg Olsen’s Youth Sports Podcast Soars In Popularity
While Greg Olsen might need to rethink his choice of nicknames, there is no doubt that the retired NFL tight end still carries a lot of passion for his beloved sport. While other retired NFL players might turn to coaching professional teams, Olsen has taken a slightly different deviation. Olsen focuses on youth sports and even runs the ‘Youth Inc.’ podcast in order to serve the target community in a more accessible manner.

A source said that if Greg Olsen is “bumped” to Fox’s No. 2 team, his $10M salary “will be cut” to $3M.

Greg Olsen is placing plenty of focus on high school sports and also remarked in a recent interview with Forbes that there are several amazing coaches who are doing well in this area. Olsen is, of course, not the only former NFL player who is involved in youth sports. Others, like Luke Kuechly, are also involved in this. Youth Inc. is not only run by Greg Olsen, but also by Ryan Baise and Tim Murphy from Audacy.
