Isaac Schmidt looks set to leave Leeds United before the transfer deadline.
Schmidt joined the Whites from St Gallen last summer, but he has not been able to force his way in front of Jayden Bogle at Elland Road.
He tried to make his case during pre-season while Bogle was out with a hip flexor injury, but struggled to make an impact.
His display against Villarreal on 2 August was particularly frustrating as he left Daniel Farke and Joe Rodon visibly annoyed.

Schmidt wants to leave Leeds as agreement reached
Schmidt is not trusted by Leeds boss Farke and was handed just 12 appearances in the Championship last season.

Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg claimed on 19 August that Schmidt and Bremen have already reached an agreement in principle on personal terms.
He states that there is still no agreement between the clubs, but they remain in discussions over the 25-year-old, leaving him waiting for the exit door.

Leeds need to sort a new right-back before Schmidt exit
If Leeds are going to allow Schmidt to leave, they need to secure a new right-back to play the back-up role behind Bogle.
Given the fitness doubts about Bogle ahead of the 1-0 win against Everton, it is imperative that a quality replacement is sorted.
Leeds were in advanced talks to sign James Justin from Leicester, but his recent injury has put that into doubt.

Not deemed good enough for the top-flight
Leeds got off to the perfect start against Everton on Monday, with Lukas Nmecha slotting home a vital penalty to secure all three points.
However, if Schmidt is allowed to depart, and an alternative is not brought in, it would leave Sam Byram as the replacement, and he is not top-flight standard.
A Bogle injury would put the Peacocks in crisis, so the Switzerland star cannot exit until a new defender is brought through the doors at Thorp Arch; that is the bottom line for Farke and Co.
