A glamorous Manchester United fan was banned from entering Old Trafford over the weekend.

Shania Howard had been hoping to watch her beloved football team in their Premier League opener against Arsenal - when she was told she wasn't allowed into the stadium.

The glam fan had rocked up to the stadium in a bodypainted United shirt and shorts - taking revealing snaps for her social media pages outside of the ground. And it was this get-up that caused stewards to turn her away.

In a video posted on social media, she said: "I am not even joking I am fuming. I just went to Old Trafford to watch the first game of the season and they did not even let me in because of the way that I am dressed.

"What is wrong with the way I am dressed? This is an actual joke. I am going to be putting in an official complaint. I am not even joking."

Shania isn't the only football fan to rock up to a game in bodypaint - with Arabella Mia performing the same stunt at Arsenal.

Shania and Arabella met up outside the stadium, as Arabella joked in a video: "Come all the way to Old Trafford and I have got some b**** doing the same thing as me. F****** hell.

"Would look better in an Arsenal top though!"

Arabella last performed the stunt in the summer, when she went to the Emirates Stadium with a sultry message for the Gunners' new star striker Viktor Gyokeres.

Arabella rocked Gyokeres on her back as she had painted the new away kit that she paired slim fitting jeans. The stunner also held up a sign that read: "Welcome to Arsenal, Viktor Gyokeres."

The Arsenal fan's modesty was preserved with two stickers over her chest.

"A warm welcome with a warm up game," Arabella teased on social media - and fans were quick to compliment her look. "Good to see you back," one fan responded. While a second said: "Looking good! Bet your happy they’ve made a plain-ish shirt!"
