Top 15 highest-paid players at EuroBasket 2025

Nikola Jokic will be the highest-paid player at FIBA EuroBasket 2025, followed by Giannis Antetokounmpo, with several NBA stars like Lauri Markkanen, Luka Doncic, and Franz Wagner also among the top earners.

Three-time NBA MVP and Serbian center Nikola Jokic will be the highest-paid player at the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket 2025, closely followed by Greek star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Jokic, of the Denver Nuggets, will earn $55.2 million in the NBA next season, while Milwaukee Bucks forward Antetokounmpo will make $54.1 million.

All figures are before taxes.

The only NBA player set to earn more than Jokic next season is Stephen Curry, who will receive $59.6 million.

Finland's Lauri Markkanen ranks as the 3rd highest-paid EuroBasket 2025 player, earning $46.4 million with the Utah Jazz.

Slovenian star Luka Doncic follows him with $46 million, and Germany's Franz Wagner rounds out the top five with $38.7 million.

Some might wonder why Doncic earns less than Markkanen.

The reason is that his current pay still comes from the Dallas Mavericks contract he signed in 2022, even though he recently agreed to a three-year, $165 million max extension with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Overall, three national teams—Serbia, Germany, and France—have two players each among the Top 15 highest-paid EuroBasket participants.
