According to a claim in the Turkish media Galatasaray are prepared to increase their offer for Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.
The 32-year-old has been linked with a move to the Istanbul club in recent weeks as they look to sign a new No.1.
Habersarikirmizi report on developments with Galatasaray’s pursuit for the Manchester City player and claim they are prepared to improve on their initial €10m offer.
It’s claimed the Super Lig champions didn’t receive a positive response from the Premier League side with their first bid, but they are now willing to offer an additional €2m in potential add-ons.
Despite the two clubs still looking to come to an agreement over the fee, Ederson has reportedly accepted Galatasry’s proposal. According to the report, the Brazil international is scheduled to travel to Istanbul this week and it’s hoped a deal can be finalised soon.
With the arrival of James Trafford this summer and Manchester City’s reported interest in PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, it seems Ederson is surplus to requirements at the Etihad.
He made 40 appearances in all competitions last season and is contracted to Manchester City until June 2026.
