There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Besiktas are again showing interest in Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho.
Earlier in the transfer window, the Super Lig side had been in transfer talks to sign the Manchester United flop, but his high wage demands were an issue.
However, Sancho remains a Manchester Untied player despite recent links with Juventus and AS Roma. There’s been frustration in Italy about the former England international dithering over his future, with the feeling that he’s always waiting for something better.
Sporx report on Besiktas’ renewed interest in the 25-year-old after their failed attempts to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Gonçalo Guedes.
It’s claimed despite interest from the two Serie A giants, Besiktas will remain patient in their pursuit for the Manchester United forward. With most European transfer windows closing on September 1st, the Black Eagles believe they have a chance to sign the Englishman afterwards..
Super Lig sides have an extra 12 days to get their deals done next month and the plan is to wait until there’s less competition.
Sancho made 41 appearances whilst on loan with Chelsea last season, scoring five goals.
