Leeds United have completed a deal to sign Noah Okafor from AC Milan with updates emerging on Tuesday morning, a few hours after Monday night’s 1-0 win over Everton.
It was Lukas Nmecha who got the goal after a controversial awarding of a penalty. The Leeds substitute and new signing duly obliged, driving the ball into the corner even if Jordan Pickford went the right way.
But with Everton done and dusted, attention returns to the training pitch, to the transfer window and to preparation for Saturday night as Leeds go up against an Arsenal side that beat Man United on Sunday.
However, Leeds are now expected to confirm the arrival of a ninth summer signing by the time Daniel Farke’s side take to the pitch again. Leeds have completed a deal to sign AC Milan attacker Noah Okafor.

Daniel Farke’s personal Noah Okafor request to Adam Underwood
Leeds have been strongly linked with Okafor this summer, the Switzerland international shining in pre-season for AC Milan. A brace against Liverpool and an impressive display against Leeds in Dublin.
Graeme Bailey has informed LeedsUnited.News that Leeds have completed a £17.25m deal for Okafor, with RedBull playing a key role in a deal. Okafor used to play for RedBull’s Austrian side RB Salzburg.
A five-year deal has been agreed, after Fabrizio Romano said a deal was close on Monday. CalcioMercato give an update, saying Okafor is a personal request of boss Farke, urging Adam Underwood to sign him.
It is also claimed that Farke has been watching Okafor since his time at Salzburg, in which he had a hand in 57 goals in 110 games – having been signed from Basel by Jesse Marsch at the Austrian side in 2020.

Exits surely incoming as Leeds complete Noah Okafor deal
In goal, Leeds have signed Lucas Perri and it means Illan Meslier is in limbo. Similarly, up front, Mateo Joseph has gone on loan to Mallorca and Patrick Bamford has been told he has no future at Elland Road.
That is after Leeds have done deals for Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, as well as Okafor who can play up front. But he is best from the left and Okafor’s arrival means Leeds now have five senior wingers.
Manor Solomon may have returned to Tottenham, but Jack Harrison has returned to become a part of Farke’s squad. The addition of Okafor means five wingers and Largie Ramazani could be the one to go.
