Micah Parsons is in the middle of a well-documented contract dispute with the Dallas Cowboys.
Jerry Jones and the front office have made it clear that they’re not willing to expedite his contract because he’s playing hardball, which has put both sides in a difficult situation.
Parsons has not only been a solid defender for the Cowboys since he came into the league, but he’s also been among the best at the position over the past few years.
He believes he should get a big contract sooner rather than later, and the Cowboys haven’t given him the satisfaction to this point.
This could lead to a trade if he remains unhappy with the organization, which would cause a frenzy of interested teams to put their best offer on the table.
While several teams would be interested in acquiring Parsons, not every team in the league could offer the right package.
The Green Bay Packers could be a team to watch, at least according to Ian Rapoport’s recent comments on the “Pat McAfee Show.”
“I would expect that the Packers would be among the teams interested, and I would say I would expect the Packers would be among the teams really interested,” Rapoport said.
Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) predicts the Packers as a perfect trade destination for Micah Parsons.
🧀Packers have money they can spend to give Parsons a new deal. They have young talent to send back.

The Packers’ defense could certainly use some help in the linebacker department, and Parsons would instantly upgrade that unit.
They are also in need of defensive back help, but if they can get Parsons, they’ll figure it out in the secondary.
NFL fans have been monitoring this situation since Parsons first spoke out about his discontent with the organization, so it will be interesting to see how it progresses, especially with the season just around the corner.
